JUNE 20th at Central Market on Lamar at West 38th Street! The Djembabes will be playing at Central Market again at 6:30pm on June 20th! We will play until 7:30pm our first set and then again from 8pm-9pm! Central Market is one of our very favorite venues as it has the feel of a real "village" setting. We love the sounds of children playing and laughing in the distance, all ages enjoying their conversations and sharing meals on the outdoor decks, and everyone and everything vibrating and connecting to the beat of the African Drums!
